High voltage motors
High-voltage motors with squirrel-cage rotors or slip-ring rotors are built for nominal voltages between 3 KV and 11 KV. Custom-made products that deviate from these specifications are possible up to a nominal voltage of 13.8 KV. Standard frequencies are 50 and 60 Hz.
High voltage motors are built with the following standard configurations:
– IM B3 configuration for horizontal installation
– IM V1 configuration for vertical installation

Standard types of cooling systems:
– IC 411 (conveyor cooled)
– IC 611 (with air-to-air heat exchanger)
– IC 81 W (with air-water heat exchanger)
– IC 01 (open circuit air-cooled)
Ambient conditions according to the IEC standard (deviations from this are possible, but must be specified):
– Ambient temperature 40°C max.
– No direct sunlight
– Relative humidity 80% max.
– Installations at altitudes of 1,000 m above sea level or less
– Voltage stability: ± 5%
– Frequency stability: ± 2%

Low voltage motors
Our low-voltage motors are built in the standard version EFF1 and EFF2 from 2011 in the IE1 & IE2 standard.
Three-phase low-voltage motors can be supplied as squirrel-cage asynchronous motors or slip-ring motors.
Standard degrees of protection:
– IP 55 (fully closed)
– IP 23 (open design, open circuit, air-cooled, protected against dripping water, only suitable for indoor installation)
The main applications for our low-voltage squirrel-cage motors are:

Main applications for our low voltage slip ring motors are:
– Mills of all kinds

DC motors
Unitec DC motors are manufactured in a fully laminated design with insulation class H. All motors are designed for industrial applications and the entire series includes 20 frame sizes between 80 and 800 mm. We cover a power range between 0.5 – 2,700 kW. Unitec DC motors are supplied with different types of cooling.
We supply the following types of cooling for degrees of protection IP23:
– IC06 forced ventilation by built-in fan
– IC16 Forced ventilation by built-in fan with ducted inlet and outlet
– IC17 ventilation by external system with ducted inlet and outlet
– For protection classes IP 54 and IP55 we supply the following cooling methods
– IC410 Fully enclosed, non-vented
– IC610 Totally Enclosed with air/air cooling
– IC36 forced ventilation through an integrated system with air inlet and outlet ducts
– IC37 ventilation by external system with air inlet and outlet ducts
– IC666 Totally Enclosed with air/air cooling and forced ventilation
– IC86W Fully enclosed with air/water cooling and forced ventilation
Motors can be supplied in horizontal and vertical mounting arrangements. Unitec DC motors can be equipped with tachogenerator, pulse generator, pressure switch, etc. Special designs for marine designs or machines according to the MILL AISE standard can be manufactured on request.

We supply low-voltage frequency inverters in wall-mounted versions or as a completely wired control cabinet solution.

– Rated power between 1 kW – 2,500 kW
– Rated frequency 50 – 60 Hz

Special design for:

Medium voltage frequency inverter
The medium voltage frequency inverter is supplied as a fully wired cabinet unit ready for use in PWM technology. They meet international rules and standards.
Standard ratings:
– Connection voltage 3,000 – 11,000 V
– Rated power between 200 kW – 10,000 kW
– Rated frequency 50 – 60 Hz
Main application of our medium voltage frequency inverter:
– Pump drives
– Fan drives
– Fan drives
– Transport and elevation drives
Development advantages of the medium-voltage frequency inverter:
– Version with 1700 V IGBTs
– Efficiency over 97%
– Diode rectifier ensures power factor >95%
– Input isolation transformer included in drive package

They are used as main and standby units in land-based power plants and for marine use.
The generators can be driven by internal combustion engines or gas, steam or hydroelectric turbines and electric motors.

They are used as main and standby units in land-based power plants and for marine use.
The generators can be driven by internal combustion engines or gas, steam or hydroelectric turbines and electric motors.
